Hi.

Welcome to the latest art to emerge from the contemporary visionaries as seen through the eyes of Platinum Cheese.

Sneak Peek: Beau Stanton “Cartography of the Machine" @ CHG Circa

Beau Stanton will be making his Los Angeles solo debut at CHG Circa on April 19th with “Cartography of the Machine". Stanton will present 14 new multi-media works of art. The artist explores "19th century historical references, industrial textures, and intense acidic color palettes". Having roots in public murals, his art morphs into intimate work with highly-detailed and structured compositions. Stanton says, in regards to executing his artwork: "I employ traditional methods of visual exposition to describe the inner workings of imagined metaphoric structures. Devices like cutaways and exploded views expose hidden layers within the archetypal frameworks of anatomic, geologic, and architectural systems. These visual dissections provide unique perspectives while presenting the mechanical nature of my imagery." Stanton's work will concurrently be on display with new work by fellow artist Ray Caesar.

Take a look at a few images of Stanton's work via the gallery.
