Hi.

Welcome to the latest art to emerge from the contemporary visionaries as seen through the eyes of Platinum Cheese.

Sneak Peek: Damaris Pacheco @ Papi's Pizzeria

In conjunction with the Downtown LA Artwalk, Papi’s Pizzeria will once again be hosting an emerging artist’s work this Thursday night. Curated by PC contributor Jessica Portillo, Los Angeles-based artist Damaris Pacheco will debut a new series of work on paper. Self-taught artist Damaris Pacheco began her artistic practice with abstract drawings. Inspired by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh and Rene Magritte, Pacheco has developed a style infused with expressive movement, symbolism, and pointillist landscapes. Her impulsive creations expose profound love and hate. The colorful imagery contrasts the underlying vulnerability embedded within every piece. Although this may be the first time her work is displayed, her artistic vigor will keep intensifying one drawing at a time.

Thursday, May 9th 6-9pm Papi’s Pizzeria 109 E 8th Street Los Angeles, CA 90014 papispizzeria.com
