Hi.

Welcome to the latest art to emerge from the contemporary visionaries as seen through the eyes of Platinum Cheese.

Sneak Peek: Jim Houser @ Fecal Face Gallery

The work of Jim Houser embodies a folkloric quality as the self-taught artist tells tales of his life experiences, using both graphic elements and symbols, and the literal word. His signature color palette, the shades of sky blue, turquoise, baby blue, reds and burgundy, coupled with canvases created from found objects give an almost naivete aspect to the work which can only be described as deceptively simple. Tomorrow night, the Philadelphia based artist continues his visual story telling with "Night Got Quiet - Not Quite Light” at Fecal Face Gallery. Houser's first solo with FFDG will feature 15 new mixed media paintings and site-specific installation works. Take a peek at a few preview images via the gallery, but be sure to view the exhibit in person if you're in the San Francisco area.

Friday, July 11th 6-9pm Fecal Face Gallery 2277 Mission St. San Francisco, CA 94110 www.ffdg.net
