New York was treated to a night of reassembled figurative and abstract works in rich, bold hues recently as Jonathan LeVine Gallery presented Uphill Both Ways; the NY debut of Pose and Revok. Curated by Roger Gastman, the exhibition showcased two artists who differ in style, medium, and technique, but are heavily linked from a conceptual point of view. Drawing inspiration directly from their environment, both Pose and Revok utilize found and recycled materials and reconstruct these components to create an amalgamation of shapes, forms and textures. Take a look at some images from the opening via Jonathan LeVine Gallery. If you're in the Chelsea area this July, be sure to visit the gallery to view the eye catching works in person. Show runs until July 29th.
