Dutch collage artist Handiedan visited Los Angeles recently in celebration of her solo opening at Thinkspace Gallery. During her stay, she created two beautiful wheat paste murals at the Branded Arts building in Culver City and I was fortunate enough to take some time to check it out this past week. The murals showcase the artist's pin-up aesthetic over a backdrop of baroque and Victorian Neo-Classicism designs. Stunning. If you're in Culver City this weekend, be sure to stop by Washington Blvd and National to view it in person. And while you're in the area, check out her latest collection of work that's on display at Thinkspace through April 27th. In the meantime, check out these progress shots via the artist.
