Hi.

Welcome to the latest art to emerge from the contemporary visionaries as seen through the eyes of Platinum Cheese.

Sneak Peek: Judith Supine @ Known Gallery

Judith Supine is creatively brilliant. His psychedelic collages are saturated with themes of class, sex, race, culture, and economy that are executed beautifully through altered found materials to create a strikingly surreal image. Over the past year, Supine has been working with two new mediums, New York lottery tickets and Newport cigarette boxes, to explore the intricate crafts of cutting and folding thereby fashioning tight renderings of the collective unconcious. The culmination of months of engaging with this process will finally be unveiled at Known Gallery this Saturday night unified under the banner "Thanks for Nothing". Curated by Naheed Simjee, "Thanks for Nothing" debuts over eighty miniature works by Supine along with six large scale paintings referencing his original collages. Adding even more excitement to the evening, a scratch off lotto ticket will be given to the first 100 guests to arrive for chance of winning an original work by Supine.
