This Saturday, Philadelphia based artist Yis Goodwin, aka "NoseGo", will be presenting a new body of work entitled "Along Infinite River" at Thinkspace Gallery. As a painter, illustrator, and urban muralist, his vast creativity is reflected throughout his detailed uninhibited works. Inspired by childhood memories of toys and playful characters, NoseGo reinvents cartoonish creatures and clusters them among bursts of elaborate figures and elements.
"Along Infinite River" feeds off of NoseGo's free-flowing imagination and exposes the surreal worlds that only he can bring to life. Nature is used as an undeniable element of beauty, surrounded by outlandish colorful life that strengthens through transformation. The evolving environments convey an emotionally charged connection with the artist, linking the nature of life as a journey with a fluidity of consciousness, integral to NoseGo's artistic process. In addition to his 20 new original works, the artist will be unveiling a new mural, a new print, and a new sculptural edition. This artistic mastermind's solo show is a must-see. Until then, take a look at a few preview images via the artist.
