Sneak Peek: Sheri DeBow "Daydreams and Nightmares From Beyond Toyland" @Modern Eden Gallery

Sculptor Sheri DeBow is to debut a new body of work at Modern Eden Gallery on February 15th. Her collection "Daydreams and Nightmares From Beyond Toyland", will be comprised of her well-known intricate dolls and a more recent venture into "monsters and creatures of childhood nightmares". Although eerie in appearance, these dolls seem more afraid of the us than we are of them. A meek demeanor is reflected through their sunken eyelids and pale unlively complexion. It's almost as though DeBow's dolls are frozen in time, longing or even mourning for the day when they were once loved. If you happen to be in the San Francisco area this Saturday, make sure to see Sheri DeBow's new collection in person. Take a peek at some images of her sculptures, via the gallery, below. Saturday, February 15th 6-10pm Modern Eden Gallery 403 Francisco Street San Francisco, CA 94133 www.moderneden.com
