In John Brophy’s latest body of work, the artist tells tales of mortality, religion, and philosophy through a dada lens. From floating urinals, astronaut helmets, and depictions of the Venus of Willendorf adorned with mystical mathematics, Brophy creates a surreal contrast between their classical gestures and contemporary situations. "The Saddest Heart on the Holy Mountain" is a beautifully executed collection that's a treasure to experience in person. Show runs through January 3rd at Roq la Rue.
