Currently on view at Gallery 1988 (East) is "Allow me to introduce myself...", a drawing show comprised of artists new to the gallery. Usually showing pop-culture art at its best, Gallery 1988 has decided to open its doors to a brand new group of talented artists. Through this playfully entitled show, artists are given the opportunity to make a lasting first impression with the gallery and their loyal visitors. Artists participating include Alice Dufeu, Alice Savage, Andi Soto, Arlene Asuncion, Caitlin Hackett, Dika Toolkit, Ellen Wilberg, Elodie, James Fenner, Jared Stumpenhorst, Jill Colbery - Manfish Inc., Larry McCune, Lena Danya, Nicole Gervacio, Peony Yip, Scott Olive, Veks Van Hillik, Yoalys Art, Zach Montoya, Zachary Lank, Zero J.
"Allow me to introduce myself..." will run through June 21st. Why not go meet the gallery's newest members to their already impressive list of contemporary artists. Take a look at a few of the pieces now on display.
